The "Moving Technology" or " LIFT Technology" has come a
long way since inception in India. In 1970s the technology as dominated by
relay type controller for speed up to 1 mps and DC generator type for speed 1.5
mps and above. In 1980s the relay type controller we are phased out by micro
processor based controller and DC motors to AC motors which not only improve
the performance but require less space in machinery. In 1990s the innovation
came in the form of V3F drive system which gives lot of advantages in form of
ride comfort, leveling accuracy and power savings. Year 2000 introduced the Machine Room less Gearless elevator (MRL)
technology. MRL(GL) elevators became an advantage for the buildings with
height restrictions space requirements
at terrace level. and it can be put in the building without structural
consideration. Also Gearless machine have longer life than regular geared
machine and hydraulic machine due to less wear and tear. Here ESCON marches
along with Technology and has various examples to display the installations of
such customized elevator solutions.
In this
genre of “Green Technology",
ESCON contributes it's bit towards green revolution by using the latest
permanent magnet that boost the power of motor there by reducing the
size and the capacity of the motor; this is environment friendly as it
eliminates oil spillage and risk of contaminating ground works.
